Our most exciting European new destination in our 2010 Select Collection brochure is Montenegro and the stunning Aman Sveti Stefan hotel. The Select Collection team decided to check it out, and we were not dissapointed...

The summer palace now home to a few luxurious suites.

Two and half hour’s drive from Dubrovnik International Airport stands this absolutely fantastic former Summer Villa of Tito hidden away in a bay surrounded by lush mountains. Aman has outdone itself and entirely renovated the main building consisting of 8 suites and an additional house right behind with one suite on each level. In typical Aman style the rooms are designed and furnished with genuine classy interior decor incorporating a mixture of Asian clean lines with robust textiles and woodwork in beautiful earth tones.

The private pebble beaches are very spacious and the enticing Adriatic coast welcomes you for a refreshing swim in the clear water or a kayak ride along the coast. Or why not rent their brand new Riva boat with captain to explore a bigger tour of the Archipelago and its old towns !
The old fishing village on a nearby island is being meticulously restored to meet Aman standards and at the same time keep its genuine medieval feeling and charm.

Above, the island now carefully being restored. In the future it will house many more authentic guest rooms and restaurants.

The restaurant up on the hill is well worth its walk, the mesmerizing views of the ocean and skyline are truly rewarding. The restaurant serves fresh fish and delivers superb service.

On the other hand the nearby restaurant nestled under vines on the terrace overlooking the beach also offers fantastic food in a wonderful ambiance with the ever so friendly staff where a smile is never far away!
