Room tipsBeach Pool Villa. The lead-in category is a very elegant and spacious villa (about. 250 sqm) with a large bedroom/ living room incl. daybed/sofa and working desk. This daybed is very comfortable as an extra bed for child or adult. There is plenty of space to unpack your luggage with two walk-in closets, one for her and one for him.
The marvellous spacious bathrooms extend both indoors and outdoors with marble bathtub, two separate showers (one under roof and one out in your bathroom garden), two basins and a daybed in the bathroom!
There is a pool in the garden and a pavilion with table and chairs. I really liked these villas. Those who want a sea-view might find there is too much bush around, but I did not have any problem with mosquitos or flies despite all the trees.
The Over Water Pool Villa (about the same size as the Beach Pool Villa) is spacious, elegant and comfortable. You have a large bedroom/living room with direct access to your private pool from the room. You also have a large veranda/deck in front of the room with stairs down to the water. These accommodations also offer a large walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with bathtub, and shower (both inside and outside). You can go direct from your bathroom out to the pool/deck or stairs to the water.
All guests in Over Water Villas get a bicycle but they are on request in the Beach Pool Villas.

Anantara spaVery elegant overwater Spa with six overwater spa treatment rooms and a beauty salon. Very special with the overwater experience. It offers an extensive spa menu.

There is a large overwater complex with three restaurants and a bar.
For a spectacular feeling, go to Sea underwater restaurant where you will see a profusion of fish swimming around you. It serves both a la carte and set menus and is open for lunch and dinner. Actually it felt more special during lunch than dinner, because you coud see the underwater scene better and there were more fish to be seen.
Fire – Japanese restaurant. Dinner is served by the bar/kitchen. It feels more like a lounge than a proper formal restaurant.
Salt – Asian restaurant has traditional restaurant seating. They do have their own salt Sommelier. They use a lot of different types of salt (I didn’t know about all this different type of salt). Very large menu with fish and meat.
Sky – cozy overwater bar, perfect place for a drink in the afternoon. There was also a live band, but not many guests when I was there before dinner, so missing atmosphere.
Plates – Buffet restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner, is actually the main breakfast restaurant. For dinner they had different kind of theme buffets. Great large breakfast, do don’t miss anything. Seating inside or outside.
Manzuro pool bar and restaurant – very cozy Italian restaurant open for lunch and dinner. Very nice food with full menu from salads, soup, pasta and pizza to full meat and fish courses.
Also the hotel's main bar lies at the end of this area, the whole area is outside ON the island with view to the pool.
They do have a common swimming pool with sunbeds around by the Italian restaurant near the beach. Perfect if some of your party want to swim in the sea and others in the pool, as there are not many metres between. The beach is attractive and has ample sunbeds. You get full bar service here. Nice for people who want to see other people and not only be private in their room.

Who to stayVery elegant and upmarket hotel for people who like it “posh”. You can also see other people by the pool/beach during the day if you get bored in your private garden. Perfect for families, since they have some larger villas with 2-3 bedrooms, and is actually perfect for all who like holiday destinations to be structured and elegant.
