ROYAL PALM MARRAKECH
Royal Palm in Mauritius is one of our classiest hotels, just oozing quality. To our delight, a sister hotel by Beachcomber has opened in Marrakech, also called Royal Palm.
I was very impressed by the fantastic Lobby, the main restaurant where you can have breakfast outside in the morning, and the very nice lunch restaurant under the olive trees by the enormous pool.

Attractive room details
All room types are attractive, whether on the ground floor or 1-2 floors up, but the largest suite with roof top terrace and outdoor Jacuzzi is something to dream about. All rooms face the golf course and the mountain – offering stunning views!
Sport for the whole familyA very large gym is a big plus, where you also have an outdoor (heated) pool, tennis courts and other facilities. The Kids Club is really amazing – I have never seen anything like it before; it will be a success amongst the little ones and includes their own mini-tennis court and pool.
The golf course is in really good shape; you are driven there by buggy in less than 5 minutes. You can choose between a buggy or a trolley at an additional charge – the course is easy to walk so I recommend a trolley.
There are 135 suites and villas. Royal Palm is suitable for all type of clients who want a resort away from the hectic city; it is only 10-20 min by car to the Medina. I believe this will be a top seller among our discerning clients.
Hard to believe this lush property is so close to the buzz
and intrigue of the Medina
Authentic Moroccan finesse
A pianist plays in a pleasant bar in the afternoons & evenings, next to a great Italian restaurant.
I recommend rooms facing into the garden, and I was lucky to get an Executive Suite with balcony facing the enormous garden. This hotel is for clients with a sizable budget who want to see and be seen, and like to be in the middle of everything. You see very international clientele as well as a lot of day guests. (In this way it felt similar to Raffles in Singapore.)

FOUR SEASONS MARRAKECH
A sleek and soothing room of Four Seasons luxury
Four Seasons Marrakech is located very close to the Medina but with its large private garden it feels far from the hustle and bustle. It is great for all types of clients including incentive groups and families. They do have a nice kids club and of course a spa. The hotel has many different room types and I would definitely suggest that clients upgrade themselves to Suite or Pavilion.
The restaurants and bars are very good and there is a lovely garden and pool area, impressive lobby and more...
Exquisite lobby at Four Seasons Marrakech
At the indoor restaurant close to the Lobby I had a fantastic Caesar salad.
Perfect symmetry and Arabian feel with a contemporary slant
Exotic, aesthetic, serene - Amanjena with
Aman's superb luxury
Amazing Palais Namaskar
Pools and palms
More pools and palms
The restaurants (Fine dining and Asian) are great, the bar is amazing and the large pool fantastic. The award winning chef in the kitchen makes the food superb – I had my very best meal here together with a great Moroccan red wine. This is a place for everybody (even families if you stay in a large villa). It features a gym, spa and other facilities within the premises and in the gardens.
This is a lovely place to stay for a long weekend in Marrakech or to combine with Royal Palm for golf.
In a nutshellMarrakech is a fascinating and rewarding exotic city, and direct flights bring it "closer". BA has convenient connections with Marrakech from London. Norwegian fly nonstop twice a week from Stockholm and Oslo to Marrakech between October and March. So think ahead to a warm autumn break now...
You can happily spend 3 to 5 nights at our hotels in Marrakech, and if you are a golfer or wanting a lesiurely family break I suggest a whole week at Royal Palm or Four Seasons. Do remember the mornings and evenings are chilly in wnter and spring, but most pools are heated.
Marrakech is a fantastic place to be all year around except perhaps in the heat of July-August. But do remember Casablanca is not so far away & and Four Seasons is opening a hotel by the coast in early 2015.
All our hotels have free WIFI for their guests.
